Neeti Mohan, also credited as Neeti, is an Indian singer. She was one of the winners of the Channel V show Popstars and as such, became a member of the Indian pop group Aasma with the other winners of the show.[1][2] She was also on the Star Plus show Music Ka Maha Muqabla, where she was part of the winning team Shankar's Rockstars led by Shankar Mahadevan. She is a regular on A.R. Rahman live shows.[3][4][5][6] She has also acted, with a role in a Dharmendra production titled Socha Na Tha. She attended New Era Public school in Delhi. Apart from studying, she started learning music at the age of six. She learnt Indian classical music from Mr. Tejpal Singh, popularly known as the Singh Brothers, and Western classical music from George Pullinkala, Delhi Music Theatre. Later, at the age of twelve, to explore the world of music, she joined the Delhi School of Music to learn piano. She is famous for her Sufi genre songs. On 20 March 2015, Harshdeep married her friend Mankeet Singh.
In February 1988, Nirinjan Kaur was born in Vancouver, B.C. to a family of practicing Kundalini Yogi, Sikhs. Her mother, Guru Raj Kaur Khalsa, is also a Kirtan artist, and had sung for years before Nirinjan's birth. One song in particular, "Narayan", was recorded by Guru Raj Kaur while she was pregnant with Nirinjan, and it ended up being used extensively by Yogi Bhajan in his classes and even White Tantiric yoga courses at the time.
